Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your experience supporting the AEGIS contract with NASA Audio-Visual Collaboration Solutions Equipment and Conference Room end-user support, and the NASA IT Infrastructure. This position will be dedicated to on-demand support for the International Space Station (ISS) Program owned conference rooms as defined in the Task Order. This position will involve rapid response to conference room issues including meeting support in a fast-moving and highly visible environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and support IT and audio-visual conference room equipment.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and perform necessary maintenance and upgrades to products.
  • Conduct technical analyses of conference room software, hardware, and transmission equipment using diagnostic tools to ensure efficient operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network and conference room equipment, including Crestron devices, Cisco systems, codecs, and more.
  • Provide exemplary customer service and end-user support, especially for VIP customers.
  • Conduct testing and preventative maintenance for conference room equipment.
  • Support root cause analysis activities for conference room issues.
  • Resolve work orders and incidents for network, VOIP, and conference room equipment per service level agreements.
  • Train end-users and room operators on conference room technologies.
  • Perform cabling and cable plant management for fiber optic, copper, and category cabling.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (5 years of experience may substitute for a degree).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with conference room technologies, including virtual platforms and audio/visual systems like BiAmp, Shure, and Extron.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with fiber optic and network cabling.
  • 3+ years of troubleshooting A/V and complex network issues.
  • Familiarity with configuring switches, routers, and network appliances.

  • Ability to work in team environments and dynamic conditions.
  • Understanding of network drawings and telecom color codes.
